Peace of mind
through DieWell

Linda Taggart

Linda is a potter, a mom of 2 adult children, and a patient navigating stage 4 breast cancer.

For Linda, DieWell brings her peace of mind, as the hardest part of her journey is knowing she will eventually have to leave her family. However, with DieWell, she knows that her messages will bring comfort to her children:

"For me, it really does bring peace throughout this whole journey. How wonderful it would be to have a message waiting for you when you turn… 30.

And maybe someday they’ll have children of their own. Wouldn’t it be nice to introduce their mom and say, ‘This was my mom’? I think that’s such a wonderful thing.”

Having lost her own mom to cancer at the age of 21, Linda knows too well the deep pain of losing a parent.

Although she was fortunate to have supportive aunts who gave her glimpses of her mom, there’s still so much more she would’ve like to know about her.

And the yearning never fades:

"There's never a time we stop missing our parents. One of the things that I miss the most about my mom is her voice. I can't remember her voice.”

Today, every decision Linda makes is for her family—the reason she chose to use DieWell.

She encourages other parents to do the same.

"We're never going to be ready to die, but if we can somehow find peace, then I think that's a good way to go. It is hard to face your own mortality, but I think we can make it what we want to make it.”
